SELFIEING

is the act of taking a digital/physical photo with only one person or one subject residing in said picture. A situation/example in where this activity is taking place is when my sister Carlois is taking a picture (selfie) of herself to post on Instagram.

POLITICAL DYNASTY

is the name of a trait in where a family, specifically a politically engaged family is involved in politics that are usually passed down to the younger generations of the family often becoming a “tradition” or line of work spanning multiple generations. A situation/example of this is the Family of Ferdinand Marcos whose family is still currently in the profession of being in politics with traits/assets that are being shared by the family.

TRANSITIONAL FAMILIES

are often referred to as multiple groups of families that are separated by national or international borders but still share a deep connection with each other, sometimes also sharing the same line of work, ideologies, beliefs, and practices even if they are separated by thousands of miles. An example of this family is my own personal family for we are all separated by several countries but still share a deep connection with each other, with some sharing the same professions.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERISM

is the name of a tool used by the youth to promote positive energy, promote peace, and help the community which often gives youth the chance to learn and harness new skills like volunteer work for animal shelters. A situation/example of this is the youth project in Faith Christian School is where the students help less fortunate communities by teaching, cooking, and even giving gifts.

VIDEO GAMING

is often associated with the act of playing digital games that use video media outlets. The main purpose of playing video games is entertainment, which in some instances has positive and negative effects on the people playing said games. A situation/example of video gaming is when I and my sister play mobile games together for entertainment purposes
