SOCIETY

is the word used to refer to a large group of people who live together, make decisions as a group, and share the same work that needs to be done. All the people who live in a specific location or several locations can be referred to as a society.

POLITICS

is the word used to describe the activities of a certain form of government specifically members of law-making organizations and party’s whom influence the way a country is governed.

SOCIOLOGY

is the name referred to as the study of relationships between people living in groups, especially in specific societies where there is a certain way of living like industrial societies.

ANTHROPOLOGY

is the name referred to as the study of the human race specifically its culture, society, and its physical development.

POLITICAL SCIENCE

is the word used to refer to the study of how people compete or get power and how it is used to govern a country.

Explain the interconnections of culture, society and politics in your own words and understanding?

I used to think that I have a comprehensible understanding of the interconnections of culture, society, and politics but from what I learned so far I need to learn more. From my own comprehension, I know that the unification of culture, society, and politics are very detrimental in making a country successful and thrive especially in times of distress like the current covid-19 pandemic. I know that culture can very well determine the everyday lives of people in a society depending on the social norms dictated by culture especially in different sectors of society like the economic sector. An example of this relationship is when it is a social norm in a society that underage people like students can work even if they’re young. Young people then have the chance to work and earn money even if they are young because it is a social norm that is widely accepted in a certain society. I believe that society and politics also have a very deep relationship because, in almost every scenario and society, the dominant opinions and voices in society can very well dictate the different laws and sanctions that are made to govern said society. However, I know that sometimes politics separates itself from society and culture which in some instances prove to be successful but in most cases separation from culture and society has done nothing but disable a country/group of people from walking down the path that will enable everyone to succeed. Overall I believe that culture, society, and politics play a big role in leading a country or group of people on the path to success especially in a very volatile and vulnerable time in history like the current pandemic. It only takes one out of these three to completely destroy a country’s future when one does not comply, listen, and understand one another. So it is very important that people study culture, society, and politics so that everyone understands that everything matters when it comes to building a successful country that has a bright future ahead.
