What makes more sense Creationism vs Evolutionism?

The video that I have watched is a perfect example of a calm and neutral way of tackling a very controversial and sensitive debate topic, which I personally respect the people behind the video for achieving. Ever since the rise in popularity of the science-based study called “Theory of Evolution” by Charles Darwin, many people argue on what is actually right and wrong between the conflicting ideologies of Creationism and Evolution. I have actually researched about both ideologies/beliefs before watching this video and I have previously talked to a lot of my Catholic and Christian friends about what they believe. Considering what I know about Evolution and what I learned from the video, I do see why so many people regard the theory of evolution as scientific “fact” or a counter-argument to people who believe in Creationism. Evolution provides tangible shreds of evidence and facts that support their theory meanwhile Creationism can only present mere small evidence because most of the ideology in Creationism is based on “believing” that it is why religion is more regarded as a “belief”, not a correct fact.

I personally believe more in the ideology of Creationism but probably because of more unorthodox reasons than most people who believe in their respective religions. I believe in Creationism more because the message it delivers is humbling, interesting, insightful, and I think it provides people with a very important sense of their state in life. I personally believe that it is better to believe in something and live by certain principles than nothing at all. People disregard certain beliefs and facts just because of the “stigma” that is around certain ideologies but I wish people realize that believing in something like Creationism can be somewhat beneficial even if the benefits are not obvious. Some even realize their very roles in life because of how they interpret the messages in Creationism. I always see people argue with each other and some people in different parts of the world even kill each other because of their different ideologies/beliefs about certain topics especially religion. I personally don’t understand why people feel the need to assert their own respective beliefs on to others, in some scenarios people even attack, harass, and unfortunately kill on behalf of their belief which in some cases even violate the philosophies under their religions.

Religion and Science have always disagreed on the way everything was created, some people even make baseless disrespectful comments towards people who are in professions under religion especially science. I believe that people are entitled to the right to believe what they want to believe but I do not condone disrespecting each other just because we may differ on our beliefs. I honestly see more disrespectful people on the side of religious people because some feel that their religion is “all-encompassing” or factually correct. The comment section below the video is a symbol of what happens when people immaturely argue over science and religion, which has the both sides committing and saying evil actions/comments just to disagree with one another. I also believe that having a fair and neutral treatment of both the two sides discussed in this video is important however I do believe that some facts were either incorrect or incomplete statements made for the side of Evolutionism which made Creationism have an advantage. Nevertheless, the way the speaker conducted and answered the questions asked in the video is still fairly neutral and fair to both sides. I think it’s important that people should be more open-minded, especially with religious beliefs even if they may not agree with certain opinions because having open-mindedness will always lead to peace.
